Learn German with Rayka!

We will improve all language skills (speaking, listening, writing, reading, grammar) together in a relaxed atmosphere and in a productive way. You will see that learning German can be fun! 

Registration is always for one month, but it is possible to take the course over many months. Just like in most language schools, we will need 3 months (48 lessons) for a “semi level” (e.g. A2.1 or B2.2).

  • Price for one month: 99,- Euro for 16 lessons (6 Euro per lesson)

Rayka

Rayka is a Germanist and ethnologist and has been teaching German since 2020 – online and on site in her own cultural center Toonda in Uganda, where she has lived most of the time since 2018. She works with individuals and small groups and attaches great importance to communicative, hands-on teaching. It is important to her that her students actively use the language right from the start and gain confidence in everyday life and at work. Thanks to her own language skills (English, French, Italian and Arabic), she is able to put herself in her students’ shoes and convey difficult content in an understandable way.
Her intercultural background and her experience as an author characterize her lessons: open, structured and with an eye for the different needs of her students. She creates a relaxed learning atmosphere in which progress is visible and learning is fun.

I can only recommend MyGermanCourses to anyone who wants to learn German. I have just completed the second part of level C1.1 with Asli’s class and she is a great teacher who makes difficult concepts very easy to understand. She also involves everyone in class and makes for a fluid learning experience, which is usually not so easy with online courses. (translated)

I look forward to every Tuesday and Thursday. The lessons are very pleasant and harmonious. We have a nice rhythm with my classmates, but the most important thing here is the teacher. A course consists of a maximum of 9 participants. As not everyone can attend every single session (due to family or work commitments, illness, etc.), it is not uncommon that sometimes there are only 3 or 4 other students in class with you.

4 lessons per week. Each lesson is 45 minutes long. This means that each registration (= 1 month) includes 16 lessons (12 hours).

A whole language level (e.g. A1, B2 etc.) will take 6 months; 3 months for a semi-level (e.g. A2.1, B2.2).

Registration and course fees are for one month (4 weeks, 16 lessons, 12 hours).

We can provide you with a certificate of attendance to prove that you have attended the course. This might be sufficient for your purposes.

However, for an official language level certificate you need to register for an exam, e.g. TELC or Goethe. We do not offer such exams.

Unfortunately, the lessons are not recorded for data protection reasons. However, the most important and new topics will be reviewed in the next lesson. You will also receive the lesson material (all notes from the lesson) so that you can easily catch up on the material.

We can offer you a discount if you would like to book and pay for a whole level (e.g. A1 or B2) in advance.

With the exception of the A1 courses, all levels are taught exclusively by native speakers. More importantly, all our teachers are highly experienced and have a degree in German as a Foreign Language, German Studies etc. and have strong passion for teaching.

Absolutely! Spoken communication is the main focus of all our courses. Of course, all other language areas will be trained, too. 🙂
