Our Team

Maarten
Maarten has been teaching languages for more than 10 years and has made it his goal to pass on his passion for languages to his students. He has already worked for various schools and universities in Germany, China, the UK and Turkey and started his own business in 2022.

Sacide
Sacide, who has over 10 years of experience in German tutoring, was born in Germany. After completing her Bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpreting (German-Turkish), she completed a Master’s degree in Translation Studies at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (FTSK) in Germany, where she also received pedagogical training.
This linguistic, cultural and educational background allows her to see German from an “outsider” perspective and enables her to quickly recognize the challenges her students face or their needs in their language learning process. In this way, she develops effective learning strategies tailored to the individual needs of each student, while at the same time adopting a communicative and practice-based approach, focusing on helping her students improve their knowledge of German for work, study and everyday life.

Leni
After studying German language and literature, Leni started teaching German as a foreign and second language in 2015 and has been passionate about it since the very beginning! She always caters to the needs of her course participants and, in addition to the language itself, also imparts her extensive knowledge of German culture and history in a fun and at the same time in a very successful way. Being multilingual herself, she knows the challenges of learning a new language from her own experience!

Jenny
Jenny is originally from Cologne and studied Spanish and sport to become a teacher. After completing her studies, she taught at state schools for several years. Today she concentrates entirely on her work as a German teacher.
What she loves most about teaching is the exchange with people from all over the world and the opportunity to accompany learners individually on their way to learning German. A pleasant and supportive learning atmosphere in which everyone feels comfortable and enjoys learning is particularly important to her. Thanks to her pedagogical training and teaching experience, Jenny knows exactly how to convey content in an understandable and lively way.
As she enjoys traveling and learning foreign languages herself, she knows the challenges of language learning from her own experience – and meets them in class with a great deal of empathy, patience and humor.

Yasemin

It is important to her that her students actively use the language right from the start and gain confidence in everyday life and at work. Thanks to her own language skills (English, French, Italian and Arabic), she is able to put herself in her students’ shoes and convey difficult content in an understandable way.

In the classroom, the focus is on interaction, action and production orientation, teaching learning content that is close to the real world and geared towards the individual needs of the learner. Learners must be met where they are!
